If you, as a future teacher, question the value of poetry in the EFL classroom or are afraid to teach it, this bachelor thesis will certainly convince you why to teach it anyway. This thesis researched the value of poetry and why teachers are afraid to teach it. Furthermore it was investigated how poetry can be taught and if there are any helpful resources online yet which can help teachers to teach poetry. Last but not least this bachelor thesis gives an answer to why it is important to teach poetry in the EFL classroom, more specifically in vocabulary and grammar lessons.
Als jij als toekomstig leraar de waarde van poëzie in de Engelse les in vraag stelt, of als je weerhouden wordt om poëzie te geven, zal deze bachelor proef je zeker overtuigen om poëzie toch te integreren in jouw les.
De waarde van en de reden waarom poëzie vermeden wordt in de EFL les werden onderzocht. Verder werd er gezocht naar mogelijkheden om poëzie te geven en of er bruikbare sites te vinden zijn die leraren kunnen helpen. Verder geeft dit werk een antwoord waarom poëzie een meerwaarde biedt om woordenschat en grammatica aan te reiken. |
